Ishrat Jahan is a public health professional and Research Assistant with the Let’s Yarn About Sleep team who is also completing her PhD at the University of Queensland, exploring the impact of sleep health amongst First Nations adolescents. Ishrat’s academic background includes a Master of Public Health from North South University, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Comila Medical College, Bangladesh. . With a strong academic background and hands-on research experience, Ishrat hopes to contribute to advancing community-driven approaches to improve sleep health, particularly within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
