What Makes You Sleepy? Understanding sleep pressure and the body clock
Let's Yarn About Sleep, sleep health experts and community members from Kalkadoon Country (Mount Isa) Queensland, Australia, worked together to create a short animation explaining how sleep works and what makes us feel sleepy, and how sleep pressure and our body clock work together to help us get a good night's sleep.
Let's Yarn About Sleep is Australia's first sleep health equity program which aims to help every Australian sleep better. We work alongside First Nations communities across Australia to understand why sleep is important and empower young people to connect with their sleep health.
We'd like to thank the animation production team from the University of Queensland for their collaboration in creating this resource.
