North West and Gulf First Nations Summit
The Let’s Yarn About Sleep team was honoured to attend the first ever North West and Gulf First Nations Summit in Mount Isa on Kalkadoon Nation, hosted by Mithangkaya Nguli over the 22-24 May. Our team members Roslyn and Lacoata were proud to be involved in the event, supporting panel sessions and presentations throughout the event. This was a fantastic event, highlighting the powerful work, impact and voices of the North West and Gulf, and we look forward to the next summit!
We were also honoured to receive the Excellence in Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Support Service Delivery Award at the annual Community Services Ball this weekend. Roslyn and our Community Steering Group were proud to accept the award!
